SWUYN Delta State Chapter to Host Induction and Inauguration Ceremony for 25 LGA

The Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) Delta State chapter is set to host an induction and inauguration ceremony for its 25 Local Government Executive Council (LGEC) members. The event, themed “Empowering Youths for State and National Development,” will take place on April 11, 2025.

According to the State Chapter Public Relations Officer, the ceremony aims to achieve three key objectives:

– Outline SWUYN’s vision and strategy for empowering unemployed youths in Delta State

– Foster partnerships between SWUYN and other stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private organizations

– Inspire and motivate SWUYN members to work towards the organization’s objectives through motivational speeches and discussions

Additional highlights of the ceremony include a discussion panel on “Youth Empowerment Strategies for Sustainable Development” and a call for unemployed youths to register with their local government chapter of SWUYN for proper documentation and identification. The ceremony will be chaired by Hon Agbatayimiro Weyinmi Isaac, Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council.
