NOTICE OF INDEFINITE RELIEF AND REPLACEMENT OF NATIONAL MEDIA AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY, AND NATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

In accordance with the decisions of the Board of Trustees and the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held on June 4, 2025, via the NEC Online platform, we announce the indefinite relief and replacement of:

– Comr. Romoke Wasilat Ahmad, National Media and Publicity Secretary
– Comr. Wisdom Asiazobor, National Public Relations Officer

Due to inactivity, negligence, and lack of interest in delivering their mandate, both officials have been relieved of their duties. They are required to surrender all SWUYN materials, properties, and merchandise in their possession and refrain from representing the organization on our platforms.

NEW APPOINTMENTS

Pending further review, we appoint:

– Comr. Monday David (Kaduna), Acting National Media and Publicity Secretary (currently Regional Coordinator, North West Region)
– Comr. Clinton Ogbeide, Acting National Public Relations Officer (currently Edo State Chapter Head, State Training and Empowerment Department, and SA Special Duties, Office of the President)

ADVISORY

The general public is advised to engage with the newly appointed officials on all SWUYN-related matters. Any interactions with the relieved individuals will not be recognized or endorsed by SWUYN.

RATIONALE

A strong Public Relations Office and Media & Publicity Office are crucial for shaping the organization’s image and reaching its audience. Effective branding and communication are essential for SWUYN’s growth and success.
