PLASMIDA HOSTS SOCIETY FOR THE WELFARE OF UNEMPLOYED YOUTHS OF NIGERIA (SWUYN) ON A COURTESY VISIT

The Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA) earlier today received members of the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN), Plateau State Chapter, on a courtesy visit to the Agency.

The state chairman, Mr Tanimu Panshak Yilkudi, on behalf of the delegation commended PLASMIDA for its outstanding work in promoting youth development, empowerment, and skills acquisition across Plateau State. They further requested that similar opportunities be extended to their members to enable them to benefit from the Agency’s various programmes and interventions.

In his remarks, the Director General of PLASMIDA, Hon. Bomkam Wuyep, warmly welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Agency’s unwavering commitment to empowering young people and building their capacity for employability and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that PLASMIDA’s mandate aligns squarely with the policy thrust of His Excellency, barr. Caleb Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, which prioritizes human capital development and inclusive economic growth.

The DG also offered to train members of SWUYN in employability skills, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in today’s job market. He further informed the group that the PLASMIDA Job Centre remains open and available to serve them—providing guidance, career support, and access to opportunities within and outside the state.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing readiness to collaborate towards creating more pathways for youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable livelihoods across Plateau State.

At PLASMIDA, we remain resolute in our mission to nurture potential, build capacity, and drive inclusive growth—one partnership at a time.
