SWUYN PAID A COURTESY CALL TO PLASMIDA(PLATEAU STATE SMALL AND MEDIUM INTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY).

The state Executives of Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) Plateau State Chapter in their quest to improve the welfare of their members, paid a courtesy visit to DG PLASMIDA Hon. Bonkam Ali Wuyep.

The visit which is aimed to establish partnership in the interest of the unemployed youths in the state was given a warm recepbtion by PLASMIDA team, in which they said welcome home to the state exco as the agency’s goal of reducing poverty through skill acquisition,training and support for small medium enterprises alingns with the employability, training and empowerment motto of swuyn,the agency further reiterated it’s willingness to work with swuyn and help train and empower members of the society in attendance were Comr. Fwangshak Francis Gongdyel state secretary, Comr. Zantak Zion, Hon. Comr. Mariam Nafit Imogie National vice president, Comr. Tanimu panshak Yilkudi state chairman, Comr. Nafor Josephine Head of female youths and Comr. Manget Dawun head of training.

The state Chairman Comr. Tanimu Panshak Yilkudi thanked the DG and further pleaded and urged that further trainings should be backed by start up kits or scale up Grants as training alone can’t develop the youths nor grow the state’s economy but with the kits/grant it will substantiate what the youths have learned into action.

In her remark also, the national vice president Comr. Maryam Nafit Imogie requested the agency to consider organizing a North Central Bootcamp for the unemployed youths in partnership with SWUYN as the organization is already planning on organizing a one of it’s kind such event in the state for the zone.

The DG, thanked the society for finding PLASMIDA worthy of partnership and assures us of their continues support in reducing unemployment in the state and are always open for further engagement and support.
