COMMENDATION AND APPRECIATION TO THE M.D/CEO NDDC DR. SAMUEL OGBUKU

The Society for the Welfare of the Unemployed Youths in Nigeria, Bayelsa State Chapter, extends its heartfelt commendation to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, and the entire Governing Board and Management Team.

We applaud the timely execution and commissioning of the 1000-capacity Ultra Modern Multi-purpose Skills Acquisition Centre in Otuokpoti, Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State. The NDDC’s ongoing strides in infrastructural development, people-centered programs, and regional advancement are truly commendable. The recent commissioning of the permanent Bayelsa State Office is a significant move towards institutional stability and efficiency.

As the NDDC celebrates 25 years of service, we proudly acknowledge and support Dr. Ogbuku’s leadership, which reflects compassion, commitment, and strategic foresight. We urge the Commission to continue fostering youth inclusiveness and decision-making in the socio-economic growth of the Niger Delta region.

We appreciate the progress made but also echo the concerns of many young people and women who seek more inclusive, transparent, and responsive empowerment and internship programs. We are confident that with Dr. Ogbuku’s people-oriented disposition, these gaps will be addressed.

Once again, we thank Dr. Ogbuku for his service and urge him to continue advancing the dreams and aspirations of the region’s people.
