FG: Unemployed Youths Slam Minister Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda’s Skill 2 Wealth Program as Shameless Betrayal

In a press conference held in Lekki, Lagos, the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) has condemned the Federal Government’s Skill 2 Wealth Program, accusing the Federal Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Minister Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda of orchestrating a blatant exclusion of their members.

The National President of SWUYN, Comr. Preye V. Tambou, expressed utmost disappointment and outrage over the exclusion, stating that the program has been hijacked by political elites and their cronies, leaving ordinary citizens to suffer.

“The Minister’s actions are a stark reminder of the FG’s insincerity towards genuine youth empowerment,” Comr. Tambou said.

The SWUYN leader demanded that the selection process be revisited to ensure transparency and fairness, and that their members and other marginalized groups be included in the program.

“We will steadfastly challenge Minister Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda’s actions and relentlessly advocate for the rights of all Nigerians to equal access to opportunities,” Comr. Tambou added.
