SWUYN National Leadership Pays Courtesy Visit to Comrade Tony Kabaka in Edo State

Edo State, Nigeria – Friday, 25th July 2025

The national leadership of the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) undertook a strategic courtesy visit to prominent youth leader and philanthropist, Chief Comrade Tony Kabaka, at his residence in Edo State.

The delegation was led by the National President of SWUYN, Comrade Preye Tambou, and included Acting National PRO, Comrade Ogbeide Oluwasegun Clinton, Edo State Chapter Chairperson, Comrade Irabor Esther, and Comrade Eriamiatoe Lucy.

According to SWUYN representatives, the visit was far from ceremonial. It was a deliberate, purpose-driven engagement aimed at fostering collaboration and unlocking concrete empowerment opportunities for unemployed youths in Edo State and beyond.

During the meeting, Comrade Tambou openly addressed the persistent and growing challenges confronting unemployed Nigerian youths, emphasizing the urgent need for sustainable interventions. He appealed to Chief Tony Kabaka for his active support in championing youth-focused empowerment programs, particularly those that can deliver measurable and long-term benefits.

In his remarks, Comrade Tambou reaffirmed SWUYN’s steadfast commitment to its core mission: to advocate for, protect, and secure enduring empowerment and welfare for unemployed youths across the country. He described the visit as part of a broader national effort to galvanize partnerships and mobilize resources toward this cause.

The SWUYN leadership also encouraged its members, supporters, and stakeholders to stay united and actively engaged as the organization follows up on the outcomes of this engagement and prepares for similar strategic outreach efforts in the future.
